Born on August 25, 1978, Fisher achieved the world number one ranking at the age of 21. She is a five-time Women’s World Snooker Champion (1998–2003) and holds a record break of 125. In English billiards, she is a two-time Women’s World Champion, and in pool, she is a Women’s World 10-Ball Champion (2011) and Women’s 9-Ball Champion (2012). Fisher is also a former number one in the Women’s Professional Billiard Association (2008). She was awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2024 and was inducted into the Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame in 2021.
